Should we make this a private forum for approved members only? That would require new members to submit their registration information, we would accept or deny it and then send them a confirmation code to log in. This would not affect our existing members.
It would keep the forum safe from spammers.
It would keep our information safe, where only our registered users could read it.
It would possibly detour some nice people from using the forum , that is the downfall. :cry:

I have set up a poll, Please let me know what you think and lets try out the poll...

yes we are Carol. You can tell by where they put for their home city. Like our latest member, is from Puerto Rico. There are all spammers. I have seen 4 in the last day and a half.

I have had to remove some rather rude stuff. But i think with Dans help we will have it under control.

Hi Kathy & Dan!

I think you should do whatever you feel is best. We sure don't need spammers being a problem. I think protecting our members is very important.

Thank you for all of your hard work on the Website! It keeps getting better and better!

I'm glad Dan is catching those who shouldn't be here. I haven't seen any of the spammers, and I pop in to the Racer's Network a couple times a day, so you've been doing a good job of catching them before a lot of us see what they have posted... :shock:
